Bring your projects into one workspace.

Drift combines a Vim-style file browser with workspaces spanning multiple folders. Keep shared notes, find a recent Claude Code session, and carry the same folder set into VS Code.

68 seconds · Current Drift application recorded under Wine · Sample projects and sessions. Agent and editor handoffs use scripted fixtures; no live AI request or VS Code window is shown. The workspace edits and generated editor file are real. Explanations are visible in the video; audio is not required.

  1. Preview files. Navigate with Vim keys and read a sample retry-policy file in the preview pane.
  2. Open a workspace. Press c to see named workspaces and the selected workspace’s recent sessions.
  3. Group related projects. Press e to edit service-stack, add cli-tools with Space, and use Tab to review all three member folders.
  4. Keep shared context. Open the workspace files with f and preview its CLAUDE.md notes.
  5. Find the next task. Open the session list with l and rename the selected session to “API retry policy.” Drift stores the title separately; the transcript is unchanged.
  6. Resume and return. Press Enter. Drift launches the scripted sample agent with the selected session ID in the correct workspace. Exit the fixture to return to the same Drift process.
  7. Prepare your editor. Press v to generate a VS Code workspace containing the API, docs, and CLI folders. Preview the actual file in Drift. The editor launch is a fixture that records the requested path.
